Since 2002, right-wing terrorists have murdered 66 people in the U.S. During the same time, Islamist terrorists have murdered 107. Murders in RW terrorist attacks have increased in recent years, but so have deaths in Islamist attacks. 
In 2015-2017, murders by Islamist terrorists outnumbered murders by RW terrorists (80-19). In 2018, murders by RW terrorists outnumbered those by Islamist terrorists (12-0).
I included anti-abortion, nationalists, white nationalists, and white supremacists/Nazis in the RW definition.
I also haven't included anything from 2019 and I excluded the 2018 Austin bomber whose motivations were unclear. Neither should change the results much.
Understanding terrorism trends is hard because there are so few terrorist attacks in the US and so few people murdered by them. Of the ~265,000 murders in the US from 2002-2018, 0.04% were committed by Islamist terrorists and 0.02% were committed by RW terrorists.
I didn't include other ideologies because they would muddy the graph, by 14 people were murdered in left-wing terrorist attacks during this time.
For 1975-2018, murders by Islamist terrorists dominate. They are responsible for 90% while RW terrorists are responsible for only 9%. This doesn't tell you anything about potential trends as 9/11 is an outlier attack that dominates everything, but I thought it best to include.
