You can send to:
- KACA
- SMARTER Brunei
- Sukarelawan Tutong, Daerah Tutong
Other NGOs or government body do make calls for donations when there are fire or flooding victims, local and overseas.
PLEASE don't send to the charity platforms/recipients above! We've had ppl donating their dirty underwear and torn clothing. THEY ARE NOT YOUR DUMPING GROUND.
Instead, you can send to H&M Miri who gladly accepts them to be recycled.
Aside from SMARTER and KACA, you can also contact local schools in your area as they might be able to use some of those items.
You may contact the following:
Love Paw Sanctuary
Care and Action for Strays
They have list of items that they will need to care for the animals. It can be food supply (cat/dog food, rice) or materials (blankets, etc.)
I would suggest focusing on registered, legitimate organisation. There have been cases in the past where people used fake vet bills or changed the bank details. Always do your due diligence by contacting the NGO or clinics first to verify.
The easiest way is to use BIBD Online, go to Make Donation, then select the charity body:
Care and Action for Strays
Dana Pg Muda Mahkota Al Muhtadee Billah
Kami Prihatin/Wecare
Pesatuan Sindrom Down
SMARTER Brunei

Final message is - you don't have to look so far to be charitable. Always start with your own family or neighbours first :)
