Also possible. There’s a clip of Trump online talking to Tom Brokaw thirty years ago and Trump is speaking in complete, coherent sentences. It’s quite a remarkable contrast to today, when all you get are these often incompréhensible word salads.
Here’s the Trump-Brokaw interview. It’s from 1980. Trump was 33, and was articulate and coherent, unlike today.

Not sure where that weird accent in “incomprehensible” came from!

Of course, as usual, Trump is incompetent. His tweet referred to sanctions that had been previously “announced.” But it turns out, he was referring to sanctions that had yet to be announced. He confused everyone.

Apart from his mental instability, he is simply inept.

Stupid.
But the real story here is, again, pathological narcissism. Why did Trump waive the sanctions? Not to further the national interests of the United States—no informed person could think that. No, it’s that he “likes” KJU, says the WH. He “likes” this butcher. He “likes” this ...
man who murders with anti-aircraft batteries, because he writes big, beautiful—and most importantly, flattering—letters that play to Trump’s ego.

Narcissism. Narcissistic whim, trumping the presidential oath, and trumping the national security interests of our country.

Yes. As I said to @sbg1, to understand Trump “you have to look at everything through the prism of his narcissism.” Once you do that, pretty much everything makes sense.

Well, here's another one, by Buzzfeed, no less. They KNEW that Trump worked WITH the FBI, yet they participated in the conspiracy against him to frame him as the guilty one.

Today is the 30th anniversary of the enactment of section 28, a law banning the promotion of homosexuality passed by Thatcher’s government, which blighted my adolescence & that of many young gay people.
S.28 was a nasty bit of legislative queer-bashing, but it is sometimes forgotten that its origins were in the commendable efforts of local authorities, especially those ('loony left') in London, to provide non-homophobic education materials.
The Daily Mail, among others, led campaigns to ‘save the children’ from ‘sordid sex lessons’. One book at the centre of the storm was ‘Jenny Lives With Eric and Martin’, itself perfectly bland and even quite dull.
