The great opportunity for conservatives is that most of the things millennials complain about - student loan debt, trouble buying a house, social alienation, social programs running out of money before they retire - are directly attributable to left-wing policies.
Student loans? No conservative came within a light-year of that black hole. No Republican voted for the program that made them so much worse over the past few years, Obamacare.
Housing market tough? Talk to the Democrats that destroyed it with their insane subprime mortgage policies and savagely attacked every conservative who tried to warn about the danger of what they were doing.
Social alienation? Your good friends on the socialist Left did that all by themselves, kids. They worked on it for DECADES. Conservatives who warned about the social fallout from left-wing policies were viciously attacked as bigots and savagely mocked as Ozzie and Harriet fogeys.
Social programs ripping you off by sucking money out of your paycheck and going bankrupt before YOU get a chance to collect? Conservatives were nuked into oblivion by the Left every time they warned about that or attempted to fix it.
The Left's cherished programs were all designed to be unreformable and invulnerable to repeal efforts. It's the only component of those programs that works as anticipated. Sometimes, as with Obamacare, it was the only part of the bill written in ink instead of pencil.
And that means all of those dumpster-fire programs were engineered before you were born to trap you. It is very definitely by design that you weren't supposed to have a vote, ever. You don't get any say in what happens next. You are merely expected to pay the bills.
The Left engineered our cradle-robbing model of government ON PURPOSE, cultivating debt and dependence as instruments to secure their own power and insulate their judgments against the votes of those yet unborn. Too many Republicans have grown comfortable with it.
But that's because the Republicans tired of fighting fiscal responsibility battles they could never win. One of the key means the Left employs to intimidate them out of serious reform efforts is using YOU, the young - the victims of the Left - as human shields.
They've taught you to be filled with despair and believe only maternal government can rescue you. They run polls that show you falling in love with socialism and wave them in the faces of every politician who dares to act against the decrepit Big Government machine.
Millennials aren't lazy or stupid. They were taught to be hopeless, taught to distrust everything except the almighty central State... but everything they cite as a serious problem in their lives is a consequence of statism. /end
