2/Nordic countries are successful to the extent they have been *backpedaling* from socialism. After crises in the 90s, they went through huge waves of privatization and deregulation. State spending as % of GDP decreased 30% in <10y — much more radical than even Thatcher’s reforms 
3/ none of these countries has a country wide minimum wage. Instead the minimum wage is negotiated on an industry by industry basis, between unions and employers — a negotiation employers can decide to opt out of (though few decide to).
