Mueller prosecuted what was thought to be a definite contact. After numerous active sonar searches, MAD detection and a bottom search there's nothing. RTB? Keep pinging? Find out why there was a false contact report?
The fact a search brings up nothing doesn't mean it was totally wasted. We take lots of medical tests that are negative. But finding nothing is also information. The taxpayer paid a lot for Mueller's tests. Some people may not like it, but there it is.
The rational thing for the Left to do is find a good candidate for 2020. They can keep looking for the phantom sub but what are the odds?
