To make this story even more confusing - Sater is accused of helping launder $ stolen from BTA Bank in Kazakhstan - but his company Litco was allegedly hired and paid $2.5 million to help recover funds stolen from BTA
Which is why this theory seems plausible
BTA Bank - which is suing Felix Sater, and which allegedly hired and paid Sater's Litco LLC to retrieve stolen funds, also hired Michael Cohen to help retrieve stolen funds
Here's a complaint filed by @Avaaz asking Dutch prosecutors to investigate money laundering linked to Trump including Dutch company KazBay BV set up by Bracewell & Giuliani and funded by Bayrock (I consulted on research for this complaint)

Most reporting onTrump's Toronto deal focused on loan made to Trump's partner Alex Shnaider by VEB, but in June 2017 I noted initial funding for Trump Toronto was from Raiffeisen RZB which did significant business w/Dmitry Firtash (& reportedly Mogilevich)
Here's @RepSpeier asking about Austria's Raiffeisen Bank & Russia - and pointing out that Raiffeisen funded Trump Toronto deal w/$310 mil & Raiffeisen didn't pursue repayment (RZB did very few deals in North America, and loan terms were very unusual)

Initially I had a meltdown about this as I realized then Mueller couldn’t speak of any criminal acts unless indictments were unsealed concurrently.

People are speculating if the NYC Trump Tower Fires were related to the recent Trump Tower fire in Azerbaijan? Initially I thought how could it be? Trump wasn't even involved w/ the property anymore so I was ready to dismiss it. But after digging deeper it feels suspicious 1/42
The obvious connection between the Fires is Trump. But as I laid out in a prior thread I think Money Laundering is the crux of Muellers investigation & Trump Tower NYC seems like it may have been a hub. Trump Tower Baku may be another part of Trump's 💰 Laundering Operation. 2/42
