Sessions had recused himself, so the obstruction call would’ve fallen to Rosenstein. WH wanted a concrete backstop, so brought in Barr who already announced obstruction charges were off the table
sure Rosenstein signed off over the weekend re: no obstruction. but this is Barr’s deal, period
it’s plain as day—as usual GOP doesn’t even try to hide its corruption. so why are so many in the press pretending it’s impossible to decipher what’s going on?
