To clarify, this is not meant to be snark. I am genuinely amused, having personally experienced each of these periods.

Each stood on the shoulders of giants, improved upon the prior generation, and the scale today is something we couldn't have even dreamed of 25yrs ago.
But one thing is certain: the endless pursuit of ditching boilerplate scaffolding, so that we may focus instead on our biz logic, is here to stay!

Although error checking in Go is verbose, I prefer it over silent errors. It's impossible to write reliable code in that world. Love syntactic sugar here.
I am cautiously optimistic about generics. The complexity will take 5+ years to iron out, especially performance. And it enables "parametric polymorphic astronaut abstractions," which are entirely anti-Go and dilute its simplicity. But probably inevitable.

This site was supposed to be the answer, but it only raises even more questions. The information here is mostly marketing-related, and has pointers to other online locations, outside go.java.

Potential: very high.
Reality: waste of TLD.

The Java source, no doubt. Yet, devs who want to just learn/code Java apps will only find binaries downloads. Nothing else serves the average Java software developer. "Developer's Guide" is for contributors.

And many #productowners struggle with mandate. So they struggle to create focus in the #backlog by driving on business goals (outcomes).

So the top if the backlog is a jumble of non related jobs that staleholders ‘need’. And as a result, the Sprint backlog as well. Making it very hard to set a sprint goal.
