Congressional Intel, Homeland Security, Commerce committees, DNI, FBI should quickly address this allegation and whether it’s true. Did a foreign country hack CEO of 1 of America’s biggest companies and then with help of a different American company conduct influence campaign?
Saudi regime hacking American targets then conducting influence with the assistance of Americans, if true, should result in immediate criminal investigation. A failure to do so is extreme 🇺🇸 weakness with dangerous consequences similar to Russia interference 2016
Trump did nothing after #KhashoggiMurder now if we see other Americans being attacked by Saudi, Will trump admin respond? Bet not.
WRT allegation about Saudi hack, 2 years ago yesterday, at Senate, I warned Trump admin does not have the back of Americans, I was accused of being extreme in that opinion, anyone doubt that now? And, if true, why would Saudi want to hack Bezos, only one reason I can think of

My last hopes that Barr will do the right thing seem to be fading. This could however....be a preemptive investigation to ward off GOP pressure & demonstrate investigation was done properly.
I don’t have confidence in Barr’s motives, but having worked in government, when a conspiracy is being levied to rally a political base, sometimes best way to defuse the conspiracy is to preempt it.

Just discussed this @MSNBC 2 weeks ago, both @11thHour & @Morning_Joe - this happens when President & team skirt around security procedures. Asked 2 weeks ago, how many foreign intelligence agents have been spotted targeting the administration Trump Hotel/Mar-a-Lago/Trump tower?
This is why we have Camp David, so we don't give adversaries wide open doors to conduct espionage & influence. Last night, security clearance overrides, 2 weeks ago WhatsApp diplomacy, 3 weeks ago, concerns selling access to China at Mar-a-lago
then add Trump white house - unsecure phone usage, personal email use, staffers recording each other in the White House, America looks ridiculous!

Glad to see some finally pay attention to misogyny in #Saudi Arabia - I call it gender apartheid. RIP Jamal Khashoggi. It should not be lost on us that it took the murder of a man for some to finally pay attention to women.

Immediately after Jamal shared my column, i was inundated with one of the worst and most coordinated attacks by #Saudi regime trolls I have ever experienced. For days. It was a window into how much shit he and other Saudis who are critical got and continue to get.

1/ The #Saudi kidnapping of #Khashoggi reminds me of the kidnapping of #Hariri. It is meant to embarrass the other party, this time the gov of #Turkey, and provoke a diplomatic crisis. This is drug Cartel methods. It has no other goal than to assert power over the other.
