What lessons have you learned re: how to ask great questions?

Mine:
- Invert (If I was them, what Q would I want to be asked?)
- Introduce critique impersonally (“How might you respond to the critique that…)
- Have em weave a narrative("How does this fit into your career arc?")
- Instead of yes/no questions, ask open-ended & double questions (“what do you believe about X and how has that evolved overtime” …”do you believe X and if so what does that mean for…”).

- Prime them by saying “I’m going to ask you about X in a second but…”
- For personal Q's, say why you want to know (I've been thinking abt my own struggle w/ work-life harmony and so I wanted to ask you...)

- Ask Q’s they haven’t been asked before.
Ask questions that have them reflect on past or the future.

Past: "What was what’s a key moment in your life where you were on one path and something happened that changed everything?"

Future: “If 2019 was a great year for you, what happened?”
