Seeing as @UKLabour are so upset about the leaking of internal records relating to their handling of antisemitism, now is as good a time as any to remind them what their current Director of Strategy and Comms thinks about investigative journalism and leaks….

The video was taken in 2011 in Doha when Seumas Milne participated on a panel at the sixth Al-Jazeera Forum entitled – “Leaks: the future of journalism”…..
Seumas Milne: “Investigative journalism is a public service”, “one of the attractive things about leaks…is that they excite people because you’re getting something that was meant to be secret”, “WikiLeaks put on a lot of circulation for the Guardian”….
And my personal favourite – “there is also a circulation, an audience to be gained by bringing people material and information THAT PEOPLE IN POWER HAVE BEEN TRYING TO COVER UP”……
This comes as last night @UKLabour's General Secretary Jennie Formby sent an email to all Labour MP's criticising the leaking of internal records -
