We've heard a lot of situational high dudgeon about the paramount importance of protecting sources and methods, and somehow the identity of a person described by Meadows as a "confidential human source" is just dumped out on a Republican member's web page.
cf. the lengths FBI went to in order to avoid disclosing that they even used informants in the Russia investigation

I’m not the first to say it, but I worry that pattern of the last week or so is a prologue to a lot more people getting hurt. Officials who tried to follow at least some of the laws are fired because they did, and the president celebrates the lawless maltreatment of immigrants...
A constellation of news reports seem to indicate there’s a cadre in the White House led by the President that is determined to push their border policy beyond legal boundaries, fire subordinate officials who get in their way, and encourage line level officials to defy the courts.
Congress doesn’t seem to be capable of summoning any kind of consensus to stop the pressure from above, so that may leave rank and file law enforcement in a crucible, potentially deciding between their superiors’ commands and court orders. It’s a bleak picture.

Two things shaped 2016 election.

(1) Russia’s espionage from 2015-June 2016 allowed by the USIC caused Russia’s summation of Clinton/Soros/Congress/USIC collusion, which in turn caused them to panic

(2) Oppo research on candidates using the USIC and press in concert.
