Per the pool reporter, Trump has resumed his dishonesty about family separation, saying "I'm the one who stopped it" while not acknowledging he had started the policy he later stopped.
Trump, per the pool reporter: "You know it. We all know it. I'm the one who stopped it. President Obama had child separation." Obama's administration separated migrant families under very limited circumstances. Trump's made separation the norm. Then, yes, it eventually stopped.
This is a more egregious version of his recent claims about the Special Olympics and the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. He does an unpopular thing, then touts himself as a savior for abandoning the unpopular thing while not acknowledging it was his thing in the first place.
