Trump is selling off public lands to oil, gas, and coal companies. It's wrong. Let's end it and make our public lands part of the climate solution—with a total moratorium on new fossil fuel drilling and a plan to get 10% of America's energy from renewables on these lands instead.
America’s public lands belong to all of us. We should start acting like it. That means expanding access, ending fossil fuel extraction, more renewables, and maintaining and improving public lands. Together, we can protect our public lands for generations to come.

The first time Bruce came to Houston to meet my family, I picked him up at the airport and drove him directly to my favorite Tex-Mex place, Ninfa’s on Navigation. He’d grown up in Massachusetts and everything in this part of the world was new.
I ordered him a huge lunch, and he wolfed down every bite. At the end, he said he loved it. Right then, I knew this was a guy I could live with forever. This week we were back in Houston for She the People, and we went back to Ninfa’s.
The food—and Bruce—were both better than ever. Happy birthday, sweetie.

A handful of private developers have taken over 99% of domestic military family housing. Driven by short-term payoffs and with no meaningful oversight, contractors have failed to maintain the homes they were entrusted with—and families are suffering the consequences.
Military families have been living with lead paint, faulty wiring, ceilings collapsing, and mice infestations. Mold has taken over entire rooms. Kids are getting sick from living in these homes. That's not how we should treat our servicemembers—and it needs to stop now.
Today I’m rolling out a plan to improve our military housing, protect families from abuse, and hold private developers accountable. The very least we owe those who proudly defend our country and their families is a safe, affordable place to live. medium.com/@teamwarren/my…

The treatment of women and infants is a direct reflection of the values of a society—and the U.S. has the worst maternal mortality rate in the developed world. It's a national disgrace. Today, I talked about my idea to fix it. #SheThePeople
Moms in our country are dying from childbirth at rates almost 40% higher than in other wealthy countries—and the Black maternal mortality rate is 3-4 times higher than it is for white moms, across all income levels. We have to call it out. #SheThePeople
The evidence all points in the same direction. The mistreatment of Black and Brown women around maternal health is the direct result of institutional and structural racism. We need bold solutions to the epidemic of maternal mortality in America. #SheThePeople

So one day, 2 ladies (1 elderly nd 1 min 30s) and 3 kids got in the coach... No one could make out their religion, as it was kurta n not burkha (infact none cared, time kis k paas tha) der was space n young lady sat. next station few handicapped got in the coach n 1 requested 2/n
For a seat, the lady denied, asking him to look else Wer (der was no space also even if der was, ideally the lady should hv gone der n offer seat to the one who reqd) so man said, non handicapped should not b in this coach (as it discomforts the one who needs it) 3/n

The asshole is going to Florida. I have no idea where Princess Pence is going.
I have not encountered any articles which included the information as to which parts of the government gets shut down. 11 agencies and X00,000 employees, but no particular mention what these parts of the government do or what segment of the public they serve.
