The Mueller Report states then candidate Trump asked individuals on his campaign to find the 30,000 missing Clinton emails. Mike Flynn contacted people to help w/ these efforts.
KEY ISSUE. On obstruction of justice, the Mueller Report states that if investigators had decided that President Trump “clearly did not committ obstruction of justice, we would so state...We are unable to reach that judgement.”
A summary from the report of what Robert Mueller and other investigators looked at when considering whether President Trump obstructed justice.
Mueller Report says part of what guided investigators was the legal opinion that sitting presidents should not be indicted. The report states that Mueller's team "accepted" that "legal conclusion for the purpose of exercising prosecutorial jurisdiction."
Mueller's team was also guided by opinion that a president "does not have immunity after he leaves office" and it goes on to say "we conducted a thorough factual investigation in order to preserve the evidence when memories were fresh and documentary materials were available."
On interviewing President Trump: Mueller's team weighed whether to issue a subpoena for Trump's testimony and "determined that the substantial quantity of information we had obtained from other sources allowed us to draw relevant factual conclusions on intent and credibility."
Law: "Firing Comey would qualify as an obstructive act if it had the natural & probable effect of interfering w/ or impeding the investigation."

Report: Trump fired Comey because of his "unwillingness to publicly state that the President was not personally under investigation."
HUGE. A significant line in the Mueller Report : "The President's efforts to influence the investigation were mostly unsuccessful, but that is largely because the persons who surrounded the President declined to carry out orders or accede to his requests."
Mueller Report on POTUS trying to influence Manafort and jury: Evidence supports that "President intended Manafort to believe that he could receive a pardon" and that "the President intended, at least in part, to influence the jury."
What Trump told Mueller on Trump Tower Moscow: "I had few conversations with Mr. Cohen on this subject. As I recall, they were brief, and they were not memorable. I was not enthused about the proposal, and I do not recall any discussion of travel to Russia in connection with it."
