Trump + his 'kind' gets away with anything and everything, while the rest of us are stuck swinging blindly against monolithic insurance companies to get the health coverage we need and paid for,
getting stuck fighting against banks' overdraft fees when their error temporarily debits $12,377 from our account (sucking up, on average, at LEAST 3 phone calls to eventually resolve)...
We're too mired in fighting for what's rightfully ours to have a real chance to get ahead, let alone have the time and energy left over to fight to defend the democracy we deserve.
And imagine how much harder it will be to keep what's ours when the current administration realizes the autocratic, authoritarian model favored (by someone the Russian govt helped to install in the Oval Office) while we're focusing on health care as a primary concern.
Because the reason we don't have good, affordable health care is the same reason we've lost upward mobility, and why immigration is wielded as a weapon to fracture the fabric of the nation...
It's income (and thusly power) inequality.

It's a positive feedback loop, consolidating wealth in the hands of the super-rich at the expense of our own financial well-being, our physical well-being, our mental and societal health.
And just like a parasite that eventually kills its host, it's evolutionarily unsustainable.
