So, if @OversightDems and @WaysMeansCmte was smart, they'd have all directly cited this admission Trump made during the first debate in explaining why they need Trump's taxes: he admits, and brags about paying ZERO federal taxes.

That inequality in tax law needs fixing.

And since Trump has put himself forward as a case study in how to avoid paying taxes within the bounds of the laws without contributing back significantly to local economies, his tax returns are the obvious starting point for figuring out the loopholes!

And by discussing and making claims about his returns publicly, and boastfully, I see no reason why he shouldn't help fix those loopholes that he claimed he alone could fix - it might be the first campaign promise that he could unwittingly follow through on to benefit the nation.
