I know you're not going to believe this folks, but it turns out the NRA has not only been toxic for our political culture for decades, but it's also been a massively corrupt grifting operation as well! newyorker.com/podcast/politi…
It appears Wayne LaPierre got paid in excess of $1 million/year for many years while the organization was hemorrhaging money...that is, bleeding money into the pockets of an NYC PR firm that was running fundraising campaigns that cost more than they brought in.
