Fox News responds to yesterday's synagogue shooting by a white nationalist by hosting a former Trump campaign staffer whose grift is trying to get Jews to leave the Democratic Party because it is purportedly anti-Semitic.

I searched Fox & Friends Sunday closed captions for today.

References to white nationalism or white supremacy: 2, both variants of "Police say [the shooter]... is not a member of a white supremacy group."

References to Rep. Ilhan Omar: 2

First reference is the host asking Pipko about her movement and the "sense in the Jewish community about comments being made like Representative Ilhan Omar."

Probably should have put movement in scare quotes there.

Second reference is a guest linking the shooting to Omar's use of anti-Semitic tropes, saying that Jews today feel fearful and vulnerable "exactly because of that rhetoric."

Altogether it sure seems like the president's favorite show is trying to keep its audience confused about what happened.
