GAM Holding is a Swiss asset management company and last year a whistleblower there alerted UK financial regulators about a purchase of biodiesel bonds from steel & aluminum magnate Sanjeev Gupta.

The whistleblower thought the company wasn't going to make enough money to repay the bonds because of how expensive the biodiesel fuel was.

I decided to look into GAM Holding a little more, and the first thing I found was that GAM's CEO, Alexander Friedman, resigned on Nov 6, 2018.

Friedman was with UBS, another Swiss bank, before he was with GAM. He is also a US citizen.
Before UBS, he was also with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
