Buffett said twice this morning that Berkshire does not give away advice on specific fish. But he loves to teach people about ways to improve their their fishing ability generally. The only good stock tips are about making soup. I will make soup using a ham bone after the event.

When I was in grade school I found a chest buried in a vacant lot next to the home of a local Mafia leader. That chest was full of Playboy magazines which reinforced my love of long form writing in magazines. I had only seen Playboy read by adults in barber shops before then.
My neighbor the Mafia Don would, shortly after my introduction to Playboy, drown in four inches of water in the lake we lived on. It was the first time I saw a dead person. I remember reading the speculation about what other crime family killed him in The Seattle Times newspaper.
So much more access to reading material exists today for someone in grade school like I was then. If the murder happened today in that Bellevue neighborhood, a person would have many places to read about what happened. My blog account of the event is free. google.com/amp/s/25iq.com…

Oh boy. Things are really going down inside the NRA right now. I have no idea how this will shake out.
To sum things up. The NRA's executive vice president just accused its president and top ad firm of Trying to extort him into resigning due, in part, to the NRA's lawsuit against the ad firm.

Seen a whole lot of BS/hate on QB Dan Jones. Think some developmental aspects for sure, but the biggest concern I have is vs VT 8:59 2Q. Those that missed his SB Wed practice picks, it is this play(11 yard out to 2), extra hitches/drifts as he is late and safety undercuts for PBU
in SB practice i may have been to 1 (and was picked), but either way it seems a play speed issue to timing/rhythm routes, and the drift rears its head from time to time(footwork iconsistent) Ironically this out is Murray's best anticipation throw.Point is I dont see massive holes
that many are claiming. Not saying hes going near round 1, he just has traits that many wil like in development and will see a clear path to QB2 as a floor. This whole search for "FQB" misses the point a lot of good teams bolster their QB rooms' talent w/picks like Jones

Long story short, my friend @dirdwolf was harrassed while we attended MAGFest. Let me explain what I witnessed as his fursuit handler and what @dirdwolf showed and told me about this incident.

Nah. Because there's something ELSE the original Predator got right and which pretty much every sequel has screwed up.

HUMAN DRAMA isn't the core plot of original Predator. THE HUNT is. /1
Predator is very cleverly written to SUGGEST that human drama is the plot (the rescue, Dillon's actions, Anna's capture) but actually they're all micro-plots.

That is, they're narrative devices that combine to further the ACTUAL plot - which is 'the Predator is on a hunt'/2
That adds to the horror and tension, because not only are the characters not able to beat the Predator, but they also AREN'T in control of the plot. They're passengers. /3

Neither my mom nor my dad (both date men) ever got remarried or had relationships lasting more than a year after they got divorced.

My nana has been single for over 10 years after 3 failed marriages and my grandma has been living her fucking life now that my grandpa is dead.
After an 11 year marriage that I'm not at all sure is salvageable, a year long partnership where I was emotionally and financially abused, and casual sex with half of my fucking town, I'm almost positive I'm going to be single for the rest of my life.
Men are definitely garbage in their own special way but it turns out everyone else is also garbage.

Me included I guess. I mean, I'm not missing the common factor in all my relationships.
