1. Let me share a few points I made today on @CNN's @ReliableSources

I think they will clarify what's happening @Facebook

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN IDEA AND A HOAX

Why is Fox News the #1 shared website on Facebook?

Why is Ben Shapiro's the Daily Wire in the top 10?

Why does Trump spend 200K per week on a website "biased" against him?
@CNN @ReliableSources @facebook 4. Finally, banning Alex Jones from Facebook is NOT a free speech issue. There's no free speech right to post hoaxes on Facebook. Just like I don't have a free speech right to appear on Tucker Carlson every night at 8PM. These are private companies, not the gov't

3. The Epoch Times, which was founded by practitioners of Falun Gong, is organized as a non-profit. That means it has to report its donors to the IRS but not to the public.

So we don't know. And Facebook doesn't know.

1. Giuliani's smear against Biden, which was featured on the front page of the NYT, is falling apart.

Biden pressured Ukraine to fire its top prosecutor a YEAR AFTER the gov't decided not to prosecute an energy company affiliated with Biden's son

It's the beginning of the journalistic failure, not the end

#Khashoggi Case Thread: I am going to ‘pin’ this post to use it as an ‘Info Thread’ on the #Khashoggi Case. I am in #Turkey. I’ve been following the case closely and with access to sources & experts here. This is a very ‘sensitive’ criminal case due to ‘Diplomatic Booby Traps’!!!
The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.

Incoming: Friday afternoon #Facebook / #GDPR tweetstorm, because this week has been pretty deflating for us #privacy wonks.

If you're European, you probably got an email from FB this week, with this subject line:

"X, please accept our updated Terms by May 25 to continue using Facebook."

Now, let's talk about how non-compliant that subject line is. It suggest that failing to accept the new terms will result in account suspension. That's a problem.
#GDPR requires consent to be "freely given" and says that services can't be withheld just because the consumer doesn't consent to ALL THE TRACKING.

The last line of the email is "Please go to Facebook to review and accept the Terms" which reinforces the subject line threat.

And it’s #BS because Google has allowed YouTube to become a cesspool of lies (“but we’re just a platform!”).
