Trump's an economic genius, doncha know? So far:
--Tax cuts (that benefit the 1%, provide a small sugar high for the economy and hurt everyone else and balloon the deficit)
--Trade wars (that have not produced a single major breakthrough & have hurt farmers and manufacturers)

--Deregulation (that enhances near term profits but produces long-term damage to the environment and massive hidden costs)
--Stock Market Highs (that are from a bull market that dates back many years to Obama,benefit only a small fraction of the population & are sure to end soon)

--Job Growth (that doesn't reflect the huge number of people out of the work force, declining quality of jobs and is lower than the Obama job growth levels...which are the source of the momentum he inherited)

In addition to the above the president's erratic behavior periodically spooks markets, his bluster has alienated allies, and his attacks on the international system from the Paris Accords to the WTO, TPP, etc. will create new costs and problems.

And wait until his corruption and weak team start taking their toll as he and those around him are brought to justice. Trump has basically rebranded the Obama era boost as his own & then done everything he could to ensure it doesn't continue & benefits as few people as possible.
