Among the anti-choice falsehoods is that the Bible prohibits #abortion. It doesn't.

Schumer and Pelosi should resign their leadership positions. Trump is effectively above the law and they are busy working with him on infrastructure week. House Dems have the power to #impeach and IT DOES NOT MATTER if the Senate won't convict.
Every minute, every hour, every day, there's some brazen violation of our fundamental norms & values by Trump and these power-hungry GOP lawmakers.

How long are we going to tolerate the Democratic Party's passivity, the only institution big enough to protect democracy? How long?

EPIC FAIL

Let's not kid ourselves: The Dem leadership has no intention of #impeaching Trump. They've likely polled battleground states to see which way the wind is blowing. It appears Trump will serve his full term politically unscathed. The damage to democracy is incalculable.
What's most disturbing is that the #impeachment issue can't be blamed on the GOP. Dems are the ones with the power to initiate the process.

So I ask this: What was the blue wave for, if not accountability? Dem leaders are telling voters "vote for us but nothing will change."
Here's what gives me hope: There are millions of Americans who see what's happening and are willing to step up and fight injustice. Whether they canvass, phone-bank, volunteer, do digital activism, run for office, etc. they are the heroes safeguarding our democracy.

Compile every statement by GOP lawmakers during Clinton's impeachment.

Call only Republicans to testify and confront them with their statements.

Make this a referendum on GOP values.

Thread about airplane creeps: I’m on a plane from a late-evening stopover from and was very tired and had a row to myself to sleep but couldn’t avoid noticing what was going on in the row behind me.
A man appearing in his late thirties was obviously delighted to be seated next to a teenager separated from the rest of her family. He started off by asking about her career plans and laughed when she said she wanted to be CEO and kept giving her ridiculous advice.
She was friendly and he seemed to take that as a welcome cue to get very familiar and started teasing her and kept saying that he wanted to take her out to eat, which she was ignoring. At this point I had to stay awake in case anything went further than that.
