This is the dank hypocrisy at the heat of the Brexit party. They claim to stand for democracy, but their entire approach undermines democracy.
What will the Brexit party do if elected? We don't know, because they won't tell us. What are their policies? We don't know. How can we assess their performance if elected? We can't. There is no basis there to exercise individual judgement.
There's just emotion, a perpetual scream of betrayal, and conspiracy theory. You can't trust anyone, so trust the party. And base that trust on feelings, which can't be challenged, rather than ideas, which can.
