Here is some footage of the waterline damage to the rear ballast tank (water)of Norwegian tanker Andre Victoria off #Fujairah. Not how you would sink a tanker. I am thinking Captain Nemo needs to be brought in to consult on this sloppy work.
Sky news is also showing damage (?) of twenty year old Aframax tanker Al Marzoqah. Have to wonder why the two non-Arab ships have minor dings and the Arab ships look fine.

The Marine assault vessel Kearsarge seems like a odd choice of ship to push forward towards Iran since it is such a tempting target. It has the latest state-of-the-art command and control systems for flagship command duty, a rescue platform for downed pilots and a hospital ship
Before the US begins sustained bombing they create a CSAR structure. Designed to locate, secure and retrieve downed pilots. The Kearsarge is ideal for that task since we don't want "boots on the ground" Cue cool rock video:.
