Here is something I would like to put out there.

I follow a number of smart researchers.

I don't inherently agree w/everything they believe.

And that is precisely why I follow them.

We don't know everything yet. We may never know it all.
But having constructive dialogue between knowledgeable folks who are digging in the same direction is beneficial to all

This instant dismissal of someone because they disagree on one player-or one position-strikes me as silly

And I'll admit, I'm sometimes guilty of that myself
But I try to keep an open mind. And listen to others whose knowledge and research I value.

Constructive opposing opinions, when backed with research and thought - not simply declarative statements - make you look at your own assumptions.

And everyone is better for that.
