This podcast made me think that we really need a good, Slow Burn or Uncivil-level podcast on the New Deal. What can the Green New Dealers learn from the successes and failures of their Democratic predecessors? @Stitcher @voxdotcom stitcher.com/s?eid=60619754
@Stitcher @voxdotcom There's a wealth of audio archival material such a podcast could draw on. In that way, it's a perfect subject for the podcast medium.
@Stitcher @voxdotcom Given that the GOP is going to make 2020 a referendum on "socialism" (by which they mean, FDR-style progressivism) it would be good to raise public awareness about this episode in US history that was so formative, but which occupies a relatively small place in our nat'l memory.
