DEMOCRATIC LEADERS ARE FAILING US

My jaw is on the floor as @morningmika eviscerates the Dem leadership's argument that we haven't reached the #impeachment threshold.

When Mika Brzezinski is to the left of the Democratic Party WE NEED CHANGE AT THE TOP.

What Democratic leaders have done in the 21st century has NOT WORKED.

Polling and pandering, cowering and caving to a Republican Party bent on extremist domination is a failed strategy.

We are moving toward #Gilead, toward lawlessness, while Dems dither.

ENOUGH.

#Alabama is just the beginning.

We need to elect and empower more lawmakers like @AOC, @ewarren, @IlhanMN ... and we need to step up as our own leaders to fill the vacuum left by a Democratic Party leadership unwilling/unable to stop the rise of right-wing extremism.

Please spare me the "why don't you go after Republicans" response. I've been doing just that for 20 years, while the Dem establishment has caved to the GOP's rightwing onslaught on Iraq, the Patriot Act, SCOTUS, Trump, and on and on. It's our duty to hold Dem leaders accountable.
