1) Lost in this spat is that it ignores a bigger question. There were two outrageous aspects to that Jan. 2017 briefing. One is the subject of this dispute: Who pushed to include dossier in the briefing, clearly as a hook for media to then run with the dossier allegations?
2) But the other outrage of that briefing was the deliberate decision not to tell Trump the whole truth--that dossier was being used as a basis to investigate members of his campaign. If FBI had any reason to suspect anyone in Trump's orbit, incoming Prez needed to know
3) Especially if FBI was actively looking at Flynn, who was about to become NSA! There was no reason not to brief, since according to FBI, Trump was not a subject. Who decided not to give Trump a FULL briefing about dossier? To deliberately hide this from new commander in chief?
4) Comey alone? Clapper? Brennan? Obama White House? That's a question that is as big as this one.

1) What is in the Mueller report:
--endless, unrevealing details of inconsequential interaction between trump folks and Russians.
--remarkable details about the many and varied statutes the SC nonetheless debated using to tie someone up for something on the Russia front
2) --an admission by SC that he can't prosecute sitting president for obstruction.
--200 pages of a mental exercise about what that prosecution might nonetheless look like if only he could.
--a plea to congress for impeachment
--pictures (??) of George Papadopoulos
3) What isn't in Mueller report:
--any evidence of collusion/conspiracy/whatever
--any reference (so far as i can see) to the document that inspired so much of this: the dossier

1) couple thots on Barr's press conference:
--The collusion question, as if this weren't already clear from Barr's letter, is shut. There was no "knowing assistance" from "any" American. Clear.
2) --on obstruction, Barr went out of is way to say he didn't agree with Mueller's "legal theories." Interesting. Mueller always had conflict investigating the obstruction question, since it dealt with firing FBI head--and Mueller an FBI loyalist. How far out there did he go?
3)--left is losing its wig that Barr addressed presidential intent and state of mind (frustration). But of course intent matters (there was no crime to cover up), and Barr says was Mueller who brought up Trump's frustration and sincere belief this was undermining presidency.

1) The (cough) "sourcing" in the lede paragraph of the NYT's new frontpage "cover up" conspiracy claim is Exhibit A of journalism that has lost all standards.
2) Apparently, "some" of Mueller's "investigators" have told "associates" their thoughts. And "government officials" and "others" who are "familiar" with those thoughts report a giant smear against AG Barr.
3) How many is some? (Two?) How high up are these investigators? (A principal attorney? Or the dude who does Lexis-Nexis searches?) Who are the associates? (Other people on the Mueller team? An old college professor? A secretary in their law office?)

Further into Mistborn, I am really boggled that I have not seen it’s style of magic in more games. It’s cadence is remarkably playable.
Specifically, the :actions: of the magic are very explicable. Describing these actions (mostly) requires only very specific, simple verbs to translate into easily described actions. That is :gold: at the table.
So, linguistically, to use magic in Mistborn, you “burn” the power source and something happens. Why does this matter? Because it is cause and effect without an intermediate step. There is no
1) draw on magic
2) do something magical

It’s just one action. That’s super robust.
