What would M4A mean? It means drs would essentially be government employees or agents bound not by an oath but by laws passed. It means your entire health history is reported & becomes information of the state. And the end of private insurance ushers all of us into this system..

Before moving on it must be said that Sanders tweet is inexcusably misleading. We’re not going to reverse the Hyde Amendment in this climate & M4A isn’t going to protect abortion rights. If you haven’t yet noticed we’re going in the exact opposite direction at an alarming pace..

M4A would not ensure our freedoms of choice. Just the opposite, it’d place restrictive oversight on us & our doctors. And in this environment where the GOP are criminalizing women’s reproduction, it means turning doctors into spies & our medical records into evidence...

Tell me, what happens when a young woman in the M4A system goes to her doctor & finds out she’s a few weeks into an unwanted pregnancy? What happens at her next appointment when the doctor asks where her child is?

In several states she’s now at risk of being charged with murder

What if your dr doesn’t know & an abortion outside the system is sought? Think theres no evidence left behind?

Tho it might not be common or permanent, physical changes & in the case of Rh- women a change in blood can alert a dr to a past pregnancy. And the questions begin...

So far M4A has been more of a slogan than concrete policy & it’s been used to demonize Dems supporting the ACA. In this climate this superficial debate cannot continue

We need serious discussion abt forfeiting control, eliminating options & handing power to a corruptible Gov...

Imagine if the GOP were proposing M4A & it’d be used to monitor & control us, not just affecting our health but leaving us vulnerable to imprisonment

Wouldn’t you panic?

Think DEMS will always control Gov? Than you’d better worry abt the GOP weaponizing M4A
