Theresa May's letter to Jeremy Corbyn talks about all the things she supposedly compromised on to move towards his Brexit position. Towards the end...
"Finally, you *didn't* mention in your letter of 6 February the issue of a second referendum" (my emphasis)

Beautifully played.
She goes on: "there are MPs on both sides of the House, but particularly the opposition benches, who have made it clear they will not support any deal unless it includes a second referendum"

Sounds very much like two friends sympathising about a shared problem, doesn't it?
This goes hand-in-hand with Jeremy Corbyn's stump speech on the European election campaign trail the other day, where he said "Labour will never be the party of the 52% or of the 48%. We are the part of the great majority who reject the politics of smear and scapegoating."
The problem with "never being the party of the 52% or the 48%" is it doesn't leave much to work with...

Try rephrasing it, and the problem becomes crystal clear. For example: "Labour will never be the party of those who own cars, or those who don't own cars."
Anyway, if you're tired of watching Labour perch on the Brexit fence, and would be willing to vote for an unashamedly pro-Remain party for one election cycle, please take a look at my tactical voting guide so that you can maximise your vote tomorrow.
