1. Though AG Barr plays wheel-man in Trump's cover-up caper, he's not alone. What @SpeakerPelosi said today was pointed as much at @TheJusticeDept political appointees as Barr who's clearly running the cover up. Dangerous times to be in Main Justice.
2. When my brother John became defacto No. 2 person at DOJ, distinction between career and political DOJ was frequent subject of our discussion. One of his first tasks was to ferret out Reagan/Bush appointees who had "burrowed in." Not quite a mole hunt. Closer to cockroaches. 😎
3. Folks working at main justice now are going to be examined very closely for their conduct. Note takers will survive.
