Listening to Barr testimony and his central assertion is it wouldn’t be corrupt for POTUS to end an investigation into him “if he was falsely accused,” and wonder why no senator followed up with “how would the American people KNOW he was falsely accused without an investigation?”
When Black people are brutalized by law enforcement, conservatives always deploy the excuse that “if you’re innocent, you should fully cooperate with law enforcement.” Yet they defend Trump’s obstruction even though—unlike police victims!—HE’S the one who holds all the power.
