Donald Trump’s day so far:

- Calls Meghan Markle “nasty”
- Claims he didn’t say it, issues denial that includes video of him saying it
- Navy admits it hid USS John McCain
- What a fragile fucking loser
- Impeachment is coming
- Trump is going to prison
- It’s still only noon

For clarity: the Navy now admits it received a request to move the McCain, and refused to do so. It’s an incremental confession. Admit you obscured the ship, but try to minimize your wrongdoing by making clear you didn’t follow the even worse request to relocate the ship.

This also puts the scandal back on the Trump regime, because there will be a mad dash to find out who in the White House made the request that the McCain he moved. You’ll see some carefully worded denials soon that parse the words “moved” vs “hid.”

Some navy heads may roll over the tarping, and one White House head may roll over the relocation request. They’ll lose their jobs over this, but Trump won’t, even though they were doing it because he’s a fragile whack job of a cowardly loser.
