When I first got into this thing, I was told by italian colleagues that the italian media landscape is pretty hostile towards Juventus FC and I couldn't believe it. Now I've come to grips with reality. Every media outlet is pushing its own agenda.
And OF COURSE Juventus FC and Guardiola himself denied any contact. This was supposed to come up as an emergency plan for Guardiola after UEFA sanctions to Man City. Info leaked, the UEFA ruling isn't out yet, and everything's on pause.
To be honest, Juventus FC could pay Chelsea what it wants in 5 minutes to get Sarri. They're not doing it. This should give you enough clues about how everyone's been played by Juventus. Another key figure here is Mr. Michele Uva.
Mr. Uva is head of the UEFA commission that will sanction Man City. He's being pulled from all sides to delay the ruling by some, and to speed things up by others. He's being thourough with his work and will come up with a tough but fair ruling.
What's at stake here is far more than Guardiola to Juventus FC. Oil money flooded the european soccer market for years and years, but now the powers that be want to regain their place on top of the soccer world. It all started with Neymar Jr. to Paris St, Germain.
That power move was devastating to Barcelona and traditional soccer elite was put on notice: arab oil money could destroy what they built in over a century. Elite teams are with Juventus here and want harsh sanctions against Man City to set the record straight.
