After 40 entries, the mean guess is 7.5 candidates: various line-ups of the usual suspects (no write-ins not already on the list)
That means we already have 8 candidates (unless someone pulls out); still waiting to hear from Mark Harper (6 public backers), Sam Gyimah (3), Andrea Leadsom (2) and Graham Brady (0)
