McConnell secured pork barrel spending money to build this “convention center” for Owensboro, KY - a town of fewer than 60K people. Look at the prosperous business across the street...🙄 this is #Corruption. 
The city I live in, has TWICE the population of Owensboro. We don’t have a convention center, because, duh. We do have the #1 ranked community college in CA (most transfers to 4 yr institutions), and we have a popular California state university. Here’s our community center:
