Per @HillTVLive, Michael Flynn's new lawyer is Sidney Powell, a former prosecutor and appellate litigator based in Dallas, see: federalappeals.com/attorneys/sidn…. She's a regular on Fox News and a critic of Mueller's probe thehill.com/hilltv/rising/…
The next report on the status of Flynn's case, and whether he's ready for sentencing, is due Friday. So we may get more information at that point about whether he's hired anyone else besides Powell, and what his approach to the case will be going forward
Although Powell is an appellate specialist, she has handled criminal cases in district court. Recently, she was part of the legal team for former Texas congressman Stephen Stockman (see: texastribune.org/2018/04/12/tex…) She was brought in to handle a pre-sentencing release issue 
In case it wasn't clear from this tweet -- Powell is a Trump supporter who made regular appearances on Fox News/other media to criticize Mueller's investigation
