8 Labour MPs voted against the attempt to take control of the order paper. Had they voted for it instead the vote would have passed by 306 votes to 301. Oh, and a further 13 Labour MPs abstained. Meanwhile, 10 Tories disobeyed a 3-line whip to vote for it.

Given that it was an opposition day motion brought by Labour, it's easy to see where a huge chunk of the blame must lie.

But that's the thing: normally there would be a ton of analysis on this, but with the Tory leadership beauty parade in full swing, journalists are (of necessity) distracted.

Here are the 8 Labour MPs who voted against the motion, with the result that it was defeated.

And here are the 13 Labour MPs who abstained (seems Jeremy Corbyn's whipping operation is a busted flush, if there even was a 3-line whip in place?)
