The problem is when the Brexiteers were underdogs and Farage was just a bit of fun down the pub 🍺 and token Eurosceptics were invited on to telly panels as novelty acts, it was easy. Now they’re in charge they’ve got to answer the questions. The joke’s over
For what it’s worth I thought some of the questions at the Johnson presser tried to pack too much of his record in and were waffly and as a result let him off the hook. But if his supporters thought that was bad, they should wait until he’s got a record as PM to defend.
