Sitting at anchor off Fujairah in the Gulf of Oman and tanker Front Altair is torpedoed 45 miles away from us, another one Kokuka Courageous is hit 75 miles away. Crazy times! 
This happened about 0630 Local time (0230 UTC) On the VHF the distress call stated they were under attack and on fire. They had to abandon ship and were picked up by Hyundai Dubai. They were then transferred to an Iranian SAR vessel and Hyundai Dubai continued its voyage.
American warship identifying itself as ‘Coalition Warship’ staring they have multiple vessels and aircraft in the vicinity. Iranian Navy calling vessels asking their intention in the area. Also calling to speak to the Captain of Kokukua Coursgeous, he hasn’t responded yet.
Salvage vessel E-TWO at Front Altair now. Standing off at the moment, reporting large hole just above the waterline, cargo coming out and on fire.
VHF chat saying Kokukua Courageous drifting. Crew were transferred to a coalition warship. No sign of pollution
All quietened down here on the VHF now. The tug E-TWO standing by a couple of hundred metres off Front Altair.
