@CalvinAyre And I'll add this it's not necessarily dead. If insiders get a sweetheart deal with Regulators to green-light bitcoin for whatever they want and then they turn Bitcoin into a scarce commodity then it really won't matter. That appears to be their plan
@CalvinAyre But it's not foolproof either I mean there's Capital a markets in other countries aside from the US but American markets are by far the dominant one. The key is to make a system that does not rely on the legal system. The crypto does the work of notarizing.
@CalvinAyre That's roughly what happened with Bitcoin originally and why it was invented and why it became valuable and its function was very simple. Then it was turned over to Legal experts and thanking institutions and now it's not useful for the average person.
@CalvinAyre The key is to restate those initial values and I think Bitcoin SV is onboard that narrative however I don't really see it being executed. The concern is that a system be developed outside of the dominant monopolized money system
@CalvinAyre This is why their policy is one Bitcoin maximalism and to crippling the technology so that it's no longer useful for the average person. Now we're back to the initial banking Monopoly that Bitcoin was supposed to demolish. So you can take advantage of this opportunity.
