We need leaders who understand that we’re trying. We’re working. Often, we’re sending all or nearly all of our net income to pay these down. But it’s like quicksand. The interest keeps compounding like a crushing, bottomless pit.

Why do this? Because society treats vaginas, vulvas, and the clitoris as taboo. Children are taught substitute terms, and society uses vaginal pseudonyms with a range of moral connotation. The effect is that talking about vaginas, and having one, feels embarrassing or shameful.
That’s not ok. Vaginas are amazing and essential to own and/or love. This is a weekly opportunity for people of all genders to ask questions, share stories and express your vaginappreciation 💋

These are federal government loans. It’s not like I went to a back alley loan shark, though at least I might be able to reason with one of those. “Be rich enough to front 150k or don’t become a lawyer” will seem like a less great game plan the next time you need representation.
Btw, this is why people are ashamed to talk about this. We are doctors, lawyers, graduate and PhD level professionals who feel like we somehow should have known better, when the truth is this was all that was available to us and there are no affordable tuition grad schools.
We were told we’d make enough to pay them off. It felt worth it. We weren’t told that wages would stagnate and our balances would triple in the meantime.

You can roll your eyes all you want, but alot of us pursued education to help people and it has completely fucked us.

From a purely business perspective, I don’t understand why we would focus on winning over trump voters. Think about it like this:

You’re a service provider in a market where 60% of potential users are engaged (our voter turnout is roughly 60% nationally).
You’re competing with one major and a few minor competitors for increased profitability.

First, you’ll probably ignore the minor firms because the investment isn’t worth the marginal gains and the diversity is good from a marketing perspective.
Next, you decide how to increase profitability over your major competitor, who is performing the same analysis.

You could invest in current participants, make concessions, rate cuts, etc., in hopes of winning over competitor’s customers, something your competitor is also doing.

Insomnia for me is a life-long problem. In the course of decades of dealing with it, I have done substantial research, and heard a lot of advice, and experimented to learn what works for me and what doesn't.
