The language of Democrat vs. Republican is too small for this moment in America. Be a part of our fusion event to demand that no politician, leader, or media member ignore the real problems we face today.

Trump is in Eastern NC to rally his base tonight. But his policies have hurt the poor & low wealth people of this area. Hospitals have closed in Eastern NC b/c of GOP’s refusal to expand Medicaid. His supporters in our state house have hurt Eastern NC.
Talk about racism: Trump tried to put a known white supremacist, Tom Farr, on the federal bench in Eastern NC. Sen Tim Scott had to step in to stop him.
Trump has a campaign goal to win the South. Dems should have a strategy too. NC is not a red state; we have won against extremism in NC. The population demographics show that turn out can change NC & the South.

When racist modern day concentration-type camps are being run against Latino members of the human family & legal asylum seekers are being treated worse than prisoners of war, we must register our discontent. Silence in the face of evil is evil.
How many more children, women & men have to drink water from toilets? How many more must die? No mas, no more!

So, we know Trump is ignoring the poor & low wealth people in this country. Will Democrats also talk only about middle class & the neoliberal myth that helping the middle class helps everybody?
The 140 million poor & low-wealth people includes:

52.2% or 39 million children (below 18), 41.9% or 21 million elders (above 65), 42.6% or 65.8 million men, 45% or 74.2 million women.
The 140 million poor & low-wealth people includes:

60.4% or 26 million Black people, 64.1% or 38 million Latinx people, 40.8% or 8 million Asian people, 58.9% or 2.14 million Native/Indigenous people, 33.5% or 66 million white people. Poverty & low-wealth is a crisis in America.

I lost over 100 followers this week standing up for WOC being attacked by white women.
I'm sorry to have lost them because it means those folks missed the point.
White people have an obligation to POC in America because of the damage #racism inflicts even if we aren't #racist.

Acknowledging our flaws goes against ego.
But it's essential.
I know I am a strong person with strong Socialist politics.
I know I can be intense.
But I am a fiundamentally kind person who doesn't want to hurt people.

And that is my point: If people tell you you have hurt them, listen.
I don't mean casual snark, but hurt.
Listen.
Say you are sorry.

3. Some time ago I explained how the Hepatitis A epidemic afflicting California was unprecedented in recent history. More so given that this is a completely vaccine preventable illness.
