Defending free expression is not defending that expression and idgaf for people who try to conflate the two

You cant decry censorship of conservatives then get mad when people burn the flag

The attack on @MrAndyNgo is the most significant escalation yet. It showed us many verified personalities and 'journalists' excusing the violence and dehumanizing Ngo

Ngo writes for The NYPost and WSJ he is not some fringe extremist

They are now normalizing attacks on moderates
it starts with the fringe groups, the alt right, and most people hate them anyway.
The media sociopaths defend the attack and it goes viral, Twitter allows it.

Now its moved on to gay people of color who film things. Seriously, thats all Ngo did.

Some thoughts on the Assange indictment dated 3.6.18 but now unsealed (justice.gov/usao-edva/pres…)

I think there are potential serious implications for free speech and freedom of the press (thread)
2/ The indictment relates solely to the download by Chelsea Manning between Jan and May 2010 of hundreds of thousands of classified documents using her "top secret" security clearance which Wikileaks then published over the next year or so
3/ Assange's role appears to have been to assist Manning in cracking a password which would allow her to set up an alternative user account making it harder for her to be caught for downloading the files

#DeLille has two legal arguments about remarks she made on The Eusebius McKaiser Show on 26 April.

1. She claims a proper interpretion of the words exchanged between her and the host does not support the @Our_DA interpretion.

2. Part of the DA constitution is unconstitutional.
Argument 1: De Lille says the @Our_DA quoted selectively from her interview with Eusebius McKaiser. At the end of said interview, and she cited the transcript, she said the DA is entitled to elect the Mayor and recall the Mayor. It follows she only intended resigning as Mayor.
Further she says an 'in context'- interpretation of her remarks show that it was a CONDITIONAL or hypothetical statement- *if* and only *if* she had been fairly subjected to due process, would she resign. She says that's PLAINLY what her words on The Eusebius McKaiser Show meant.
