Boris Johnson & Rory Stewart "won" last night's TV debate: @OpiniumResearch
Again, though, Stewart did best among Labour & Lib Dem voters – online survey of 700 UK adults today
Jeremy Hunt gains slightly to go into the lead, average score of 4.9 as "would make a good PM", followed by Stewart & Johnson both on 4.7
I assume the Q is as before: "On a scale of 0 to 10, do you think the following would make a bad or good PM?"

Gove just 3 votes away from Hunt now, and could overhaul him with Stewart and Javid's votes
Seems Stewart and Javid both lost votes because MPs think they can't win, but Javid gained some from Raab's backers

Matt Hancock's MPs are mainly splitting between Boris Johnson and Rory Stewart, not to Hunt/Gove/Saj – so much so that rival campaigns increasingly think Stewart will make the threshold tomorrow and have his BBC debate showdown with Johnson
Team Javid battling hard to stay alive

Their MPs are telling colleagues Stewaert been in parliament same amount of time as Saj but has achieved nothing. While Stewart has been "having conversations", Saj has been running govt departments
Pro-Saj MPs also warning colleagues that if they let Rory Stewart through tomorrow it will turn into a bloody public slanging match "which will only benefit Corbyn"

But some Remain MPs increasingly want to help Stewart through to put Johnson under maximum scrutiny

The real problem is that, just like Brexit has tragically done much to normalise racism, if this laundry list of past misdeeds is allowed to stand then between now and forever the office of PM will be that little bit more weakened. No going back once pendulum has swung.
There are over 40 million potentially eligible adults who could at least in theory become Prime Minister, and there's exactly one job of Prime Minister available, so it doesn't seem like rocket science to expect candidates for the office to adhere to higher standards.

So, where are we today? Overall I would say that the #Labour #Corbyn strategy is working well, and is likely to see Jez in No. 10 at some point in the next year or just over a year.
The #Conservatives are experiencing what looks to me rather like damage ERM crisis did to them in autumn 1992. Have lost 13 points (!) with @YouGov in just six weeks. Bear in mind that experience shows that such falls get worse for some time - could be headed v low.
The moment MV3 failed to pass was a clarifying one, and therefore welcome here - had been wondering for years what was keeping the CON score so high. It was #Brexit. We're now at 50/50 whether it even happens. They will struggle to recover.

2. A flawed Leave campaign based on lies, deceit, disingenuity & over simplification & a #Remain one fought w/o any positivity from the Govt & no real commitment from Labour, whose leader was virtually AWOL, did no justice to #Brexit complexity & betrayed our democratic process.
3. A mere 37% of voters/26.5% of the Ppl voted leave in a legally Non-Binding test of public opinion which has been corrupted, on the basis of an illegitimate political promise & interpreted as being the irrefutable Will of the Ppl.
The 1st is insufficient to claim the latter!
