D. Once again, Iran starts threatening us with war.
E. They accuse us of attacking a ship, the captain disputes their rendition of the facts.....

5...this is truly the problem with America's approach to things. We think it is outrageous when any other country believes what we say and acts to protect itself from our threats....
6...as Putin told Blair: "The Americans think they can do whatever they want, whenever they want."
THAT is the world view of us. We're seen as bellicose & willing to deliver on even irrational threats (see Iraq War.) So we're shocked - SHOCKED - when Iran believes our threats.
