The way these fascists work would be really fascinating if it wasn’t so scary. Someone makes up an anonymous and verifiable lie... but because the lie is about someone the fash don’t like it spreads, eventually to the top. And now it doesn’t matter that it’s a lie.
And the weirdest thing to me is that they have to know it’s a lie. The picture used was what comes up if you google “bee sting”, the person the lie is about was not even in town. They know it’s a lie but they don’t care. They learned that from Trump.
“It doesn’t matter if it’s a lie as long as it’s about the people we don’t like.” But then there are people stupid enough to believe the lie. And then with the vague threats, someone ends up getting hurt over a verifiable lie.
